Superior, MT to Livingston, MT

Montana was quite a change with it's green plains and snowcapped mountains covered with trees and grassy slopes. Irrigation was still used for crops and grazzing.


Butte, MT had some pretty long, steep hills through the mountains where the truck speed limit was 25 MPH.
We stopped at the Butte Visitor Center where there were displays showing the minning operations for silver, copper and quartz. Across the road, open face minning was taking place.
