Port Alice, Vancouver Island to Nanaimo, Vancouver Island

This was an interesting cafe made of steel cables on the outside. We were cold and stopped here for a coffee and fries. Outside was an interesting display of very large block and tackles and pulleys as well as some old equipment. Just after leaving the Cable Cafe, we saw a motorcycle hanging on cables and then a roadside flower and cross display. Both of these represented a fallen rider.
