Thousand Oaks, CA to Monterey, CA

This was a riding day
We rode most of the way today on uS 1, the Coastal Highway, hoping to get within a couple of hours riding to San Francisco. There was no sight seeing planned, but we did stop in a small place called Gorda for a coffee and gas. The prices were the highest we have seen at $4.80 for gas and 2.00 to 3.00 for coffee. Needless to say, We left after a short rest stop and arrived at Monterey around 4:00 PM for the night. Gas in Monterey was $3.28.
