You can visit most Forums as a guest, but you won't be able to post messages or take advantage of personalized features like the My Forums page. Registration is a one-time event, and takes just a minute to complete. After that you need only log in with your Membername and Password when you visit. You can even choose to have your Password saved on the login screen, so that you won't need to type it each time.

- What use is made of the information I provide about location, age, gender?
This information helps Delphi Forums understand who is using the service. Read the Delphi Forums Privacy Policy to learn how Delphi Forums treats members' information.

- When do I have to log in?
After registration, you need only log in once during each new online session.

- Why do I keep getting returned to the login screen, even after I've logged in?
You currently have "cookies" disabled in your browser, or your browser does not support cookies at all. You will need to enable this feature in your software in order for the Delphi Forums login procedure to work properly.
If you are using Netscape 4.0 or newer, click on Edit, Preferences, Advanced. Choose "Accept all cookies." If you are using Internet Explorer 4.0 or newer, click on View, Internet Options, Advanced, Cookies. Choose "Always accept cookies."
Then, reload the login screen (or restart your browser) and try again. If you've installed any 3rd-party utilities designed to enhance the performance of your browser's cache or cookies, disable those as well.

- When I login, I get an error that says "Membername/Password combination invalid" - what does that mean?
This means that you are mistyping your Email Address, Password, or both, when attempting to access your Delphi Forums account. To access Delphi Forums, you must use the Email Address and Password combination that you chose when you first created your account.
If you cannot recall that information, please refer to the email we sent you after signing up. This message contains a reminder of your login information. You can also use the 'Forgottten Password?' link that appears on the Delphi Forums login page - after verifying your email address we will send you a new password via email.

- Which Web browsers work best with Delphi Forums?
Nearly any modern browser will work just fine. Your browser must support "cookies," as well as JavaScript and frames. While both Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer versions 3.0 and later meet these requirements, it is recommended that you use Internet Explorer 5.0 or above, and Netscape 4.x or above for best results.
Windows 95 and Macintosh users should be able to take advantage of all Delphi Forums services. To take advantage of all the benefits of DelphiPlus, however, you will need a PC and Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher, as some features are not compatible with Macintosh systems.

- What is a Delphi Forum anyway?
A Forum includes a message board for posting lasting messages anytime. Premium Forums also include a chat room for real time interaction. Some Forums have large web sites linked to their Forum. They tend to draw passionate people with at least one interest in common, and can serve a small family group or a large international organization.

- Is Delphi Forums really free?
Yes. Delphi Forums is free to join and use. You can enhance your experience on Delphi Forums or create your own Starter Forum with a DelphiBasic or DelphiAdvanced menbership, or
create a Premium Forum with a DelphiPlus membership.
